⚠️ La trampa
'Voto' means 'vote' in elections but also 'grade' in school — two very different things. 'Ho preso un voto basso' does NOT mean I had a low vote count; it means I got a bad grade.
Para decir "a formal choice in an election or decision" en italiano:
voto (for vote AND school grade AND vow)
"voto" en español significa:
grade (school mark); vote; vow (religious)
Ejemplo
"Ho preso un bel voto all'esame."
"I got a good grade on the exam."
