Palabra italiana

restare

to stay, to remain, to be left

Parece

to restore

to bring back to original condition

⚠️ La trampa

The 'rest-' root in Italian points to 'remaining', not 'restoring'. 'Restare' = to stay/remain. To restore something say 'restaurare' (art/buildings) or 'ripristinare' (systems). 'Restate!' = 'Stay!' (plural command).

Para decir "to bring back to original condition" en italiano:

restaurare, ripristinare (for to restore)

"restare" en español significa:

to stay, to remain, to be left

Ejemplo

"Resto a casa stasera, sono stanco."

"I'm staying home tonight, I'm tired."
