ZTL zones exist in virtually every Italian historic city: Rome, Florence, Venice (no cars at all!), Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Naples, Bologna. Fines are typically €80-200 plus the rental company's administrative fee of €30-80. Some cities have ZTL that operates only at certain times (e.g., 8am-8pm). Always park outside the ZTL and walk or use public transport into the centre.
