Google Maps ('Google Mappe' in Italian, though most Italians say 'Google Maps') has become the standard Italian navigation tool. 'Lo cerco su Maps' (I'll look it up on Maps) is ubiquitous. Interestingly, in many smaller Italian towns and villages, locals still give directions using landmarks rather than street addresses: 'è dopo la chiesa, prima del bar' (it's after the church, before the bar).
